One in four Mexicans does not have internet, cell phones, or digital television

One in four Mexicans does not have internet, ni cell and it doesn’t count TV digital at home, as indicated by data from the National Survey on Availability and Use of Information Technologies in Homes (ENDUTIH) of National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).

The 2020 edition of this survey was presented by the president of the Inegi, Julius santaella, the Director General of Economic Statistics of the Inegi, Arturo Blancas; the commissioner president of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications, Adolfo Cuevas; and the Undersecretary of Communications and Transportation, Carlos Alfonso Moran.

In the case of internet, the survey of Inegi notes that 84.1 million Mexicans have internet, which represents 72% of the population that is six years of age or older.
