Serbia is under pressure to quickly recognize Kosovo after statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Serbian President Alexander Vucic at a press conference on the political and economic problems facing Belgrade, N1 reported.

“Now we have a problem because the West will call on Serbia to recognize Kosovo so that they can tell Putin that Donbass and Kosovo are not the same issue,” he said. Vucic said that does not expect Russia to recognize Kosovo and added again that Serbia is paying a heavy price for not imposing sanctions on Russia.
