Beyoncé, 38, made a strong speech during the BET Awards night through Monday.

The R&B artist was honored with the prestigious “Humanitarian Awards” under Black Entertainment Television.

“Thank you very much for this beautiful tribute,” she said.

Beyoncé’s main message was that the people must come out and vote for the fall.

– It is the only way to end a racist and unfair system. Their voices are heard and you prove to our ancestors that their fight was not in vain, the 38-year-old said, according to ABC News.

This year’s awards are in the wake of the Black Lives Matter engagement and demonstrations and protests around the world following George Floyd’s death. The events of the past few weeks were like a serious backdrop throughout the ceremony.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama (56) introduced Beyoncé as the winner for her humanitarian efforts during the Corona crisis.

– To my girl. I just want to say that you inspire me. You inspire us all, Obama told Beyoncé according to CNN.

The two women have worked well for several years.

– I encourage you to take action. Vote as if it’s about life, for that makes so, said Beyoncé, who dedicated the award to the “Black Lives Matter” movement.

– This one is for all my brothers out there, all my sisters out there who inspire, march and fight for change.

Beyoncé called for unity.

– We have to do this together. Keep fighting for each other and lifting each other up. Because there are people who bet that we stay home during the local and primary elections.
