VOST Collectif will present the book “Thinking and acting collectively”, a book produced at the request of the collective on the occasion of their 10th anniversary in 2022, on December 17 at 4 p.m. in our library.
VOST Collectif is an association created in Arles in 2012. It operates in Marseille in the premises of Coco Velten and in Toulouse within the Atelier Motor. Its five members develop a practice linked to images: scenography, shooting, post-production, educational workshops, writing and editing. Through plural artistic and cultural creation, they wish to bring together groups, people, audiences, territories, artists and ideas.
“Thinking and acting collectively”, by Dominique Baqué is a text produced at the request of the VOST collective on the occasion of their 10th anniversary in 2022. The author and art critic, having carte blanche, retraces the History of collectives of photographers throughout the History of Art and questions the place of the artist and his status within them.
The collective will present the book “Thinking and acting collectively” on December 17 at 4 p.m. in the library of the Institute for Photography.
