As reported from VisordownPreviously, Volkswagen raised the Ducati share price in early 2020. As a result, various speculations suggest that this iconic Italian brand will be sold.

Herbert Diess has confirmed that the two brands will remain with Volkswagen.

“Each of them is under the Audi name,” he stressed.

Thus, the two Italian brands will join under the four-ring logo trademark, Audi. The two will be joined by the iconic British automotive brand, Bentley.

This move will put the majority of the Volkswagen Group’s luxury brands under the Audi umbrella. Although at this time there is no clarity as to the fate of the Bugatti brand.
