ENSCHEDE – A 19-year-old trainer of the Enschede football club Vogido has been put on hold after sending inappropriate texts to underage players. The messages include sexually oriented questions.

Parents of the children discovered the apps. They reported the matter to the board. He immediately took measures and notified the police. It is now investigating whether more has happened than sending inappropriate messages.

The case has a major impact within the association. The trainer in question has been a member of Vogido since he was six. He had two youth teams under thirteen years old under his wing.

Years ago, Vogido was also confronted with a fornication case. The coach of the first team committed sexual immorality with an 18-year-old football player. The coach was convicted and left the club.
