The Minister’s trip to Reunion and Mayotte echoes his desire, reaffirmed on numerous occasions since his appointment, to pay particular attention, on the ground, to the health problems afflicting the overseas territories.
François Braun will visit the health establishments that play a key role in the development of prevention in these two islands (prevention of chronic diseases, women’s health, fight against addictions, etc.). On this occasion, he will discuss with health teams, patients and local elected officials.
The Minister will also participate in two regional meetings of the National Council for the Refoundation (CNR) Health, also located in Overseas France, and which aims to identify specific solutions to respond to local health problems.
