In 2019, a tap water incident occurred in Incheon.
When the water purification plant is checked, the water flow in the water pipe is rapidly changed, and the water scale accumulated in the pipe is mixed.
Poor initial response also increased the damage, resulting in more than 42,000 water quality complaints.
Since then, the Ministry of the Environment has set up water supply support centers in the four river basins.
To help municipalities manage their water supply and support incident response.
And this time, a complete operations room was established to control these four watershed water supply support centers.
This is the General Situation Room of the Watershed Aqueduct Support Center.
When the creation of the information network is completed within the next month, it will be possible to monitor in real time the information on the operation of the aqueduct of 160 local administrations nationwide.
From water supply to supply, it plays a role in finding pipelines with water quality or quantity problems and providing the necessary countermeasures and technologies to the local government.
