Great outrage caused in social networks a video where an irresponsible father of a family is observed holding a child on the edge of a cliff with the sole purpose of taking a photo of him. The unusual scene was captured by a witness and soon captured the attention of the entire world.
The images were captured last week in Hongjing Road, a sector located in Beijing, China, and which is known for being one of the most attractive roads in the Asian country. The site, however, is also known to have highly dangerous curves that can reach a thousand meters.
The video broadcast on the Internet reveals that the subject left the child hanging on the cliff holding him with his hands. Behind him, another man was taking several photos. The boy, meanwhile, turned to the sides visibly nervous.
Another detail is that, despite being a reckless and totally punishable incident, none of the witnesses seemed to realize what had happened. And if they did they chose not to do anything about it.
Fortunately, none of those involved was hurt, although the authors of the photo were heavily criticized on social networks, specifically on the Chinese platform. Weibo, and by local authorities.
The highway concessionaire indicated that “The place is already attractive enough for a photo to be beautiful, without having to expose yourself in that way”. They also indicated that they are trying to identify the two subjects who could be fined for the reckless action committed.
