TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Video Bahar bin Smith visited by several members of the TNI viral. In the video, it appears that Bahar issued a statement regarding his planned arrival to the West Java Regional Police on Monday, January 3, 2021.
Bahar bin Smith’s attorney, Ichwan Tuankotta confirmed the events in the video. According to him, members TNI it came before the Friday prayers at Bahar’s Tajul Alawiyin Islamic Boarding School in Bogor, West Java.
According to Ichwan, the presence of the TNI member was considered unsympathetic by his client.

Ichwan said that if the TNI had come well, of course his client would have received it well. Ichwan gave an example such as the arrival of investigators from West Java Police when submitting the Order for the Commencement of Investigation or SPDP in a good manner, Bahar bin Smith also received it well.
According to Ichwan, the arrival of the TNI members was to remind him about Bahar bin Smith’s investigation on Monday next week at the West Java Regional Police. The TNI member asked Bahar to fulfill the call.
“Even though we have said that Habib will be present at the West Java Regional Police later. The funny thing is that you don’t understand the main task by saying that you will arrest Habib, that’s the realm of the police,” explained Ichwan.
Tempo has contacted the Head of Information for the TNI Military Resort 061/Suryakencana Major Inf Ermansyah about the video, but has not yet received a response.
Previously, the West Java Police Chief Inspector General Suntana said West Java Police investigators had stepped up the legal process that ensnared Bahar for investigation.
