Alex Rins win MotoGP Australia 2022 with Francesco Bagnaia at the top of the standings after Fabio Quartararo failed to finish at Phillip Island on Sunday (16/10).
Jorge Martin was able to make a good start and maintain pole position ahead of Marc Marquez. Meanwhile, Fabio Quartararo had moved up to third place, while Francesco Bagnaia had dropped to fifth.
But Bagnaia then moved up to third place with an aggressive maneuver against Quartararo. The maneuver sees Quartararo drop to sixth place.

The disaster for Quartararo occurred on the fourth lap. The Yamaha rider almost crashed at turn four after overheating in the corners and almost colliding with Luca Marini. Luckily Quartararo managed to avoid an accident, but he had to widen and drop to 22nd position.
The drama was repeated again on the ninth lap. Jack Miller certainly couldn’t finish after being hit from behind by Alex Marquez.
Disaster for Quartararo on lap 11. The Yamaha rider crashed at turn two after losing control of the front of the M1 bike. An accident that gave Bagnaia the upper hand for the top of the 2022 MotoGP classification.
After Quartararo’s fall, the battle for pole position began between Bagnaia and Alex Rins. Both riders took the lead several times before things calmed down for Bagnaia after Marco Bezzecchi overtook Rins on lap 21.
At the start of the three laps of the race, Bagnaia was again under pressure after Rins and Marquez managed to overtake Bezzecchi.
At the entrance of the last lap there are seven riders who have the opportunity to get on the podium. After various pressures, Bagnaia was finally overtaken by Rins and Marquez.
Rins then won the 2022 Australian MotoGP, followed by Marquez and Bagnaia on the third podium.
