The Vigo Redondela Police Station from National Police account from this Thursday with new chief commissioner. It is about Xosé Carlos Alonso Valcárcel, who took office in an act marked by the prevention of covid19, with social distance, and masks. An event that was attended, among others, by the provincial government subdelegate, Maica Larriba, and the mayor of the city, Abel Caballero. Alonso Vlacarcel is the sixth chief commissioner to arrive in Vigo in the last five years. In his first words to the media, Deborah Fernández refused to talk about the issue after yesterday the family denounced police malpractice and limited himself to stating that his objectives are to ensure that Vigo continues to be a safe city with low levels of crime.
