VIDEO: ‘Traitors! Demisi! ‘ A thousand – headed procession of demonstrators is marching through the center of Prague Home

Hundreds of people in Prague are protesting against government measures. In the afternoon they met on Wenceslas Square, around 4:30 pm they marched and came to the National Theater. Now they are to return to Wenceslas Square, where they want to sing the anthem. Many of the participants do not have veils. The event, organized by One Common Czech Heart for Freedom, is being watched by several dozen police officers, who have not yet intervened against it. According to an estimate by a Lidovky.cz reporter, there may be around a thousand protesters.

People also arrived on Wenceslas Square, who were originally supposed to take part in a demonstration in Letná from 3.30 pm. There were several speeches. “We have a lion in the coat of arms, not sheep, so let’s act accordingly,” said one of the speakers. People also sang the song “Oh son, son.”

During the march through Prague, the protesters were very noisy. It was right because of them. At the National Theater, they met people who were waiting for a performance by Aneta Langerová, who sang the song Prayer for Marta from the roof of the theater. Protesters urged onlookers to join them or take off their veils. But everything went without conflicts between the two groups. Our reporter estimates that two to three thousand people are there.

After 5:00 pm, the organizer sent the protesters freely across Národní třída to the lower part of Wenceslas Square, where they plan to sing the anthem together. Some protesters hold Czech flags and banners reading “Viruses are more capable than the government,” “The government is following the Rockefeller Foundation’s plan,” “We want to go to school, not plant potatoes,” or “Traitors!” Demisi! ” Some inscriptions are also aimed at the opposition.

During the march, they chanted, for example, “Freedom, liberty”, “Children to school”, “We want to work” or “Babiš to the basket”.

The event was also attended in the afternoon on Wenceslas Square by singer Daniel Hůlka, who had previously publicly expressed his disagreement with the government’s actions. People took pictures with him. The wand got into a dispute with President Miloš Zeman due to anti-epidemic measures.

According to a reporter for the Lidovky.cz server, the singer had a speech of about two minutes. “The government does not act for the citizens, but for them,” he said, among other things.

In the afternoon, a demonstration of opponents of government measures against the spread of coronavirus also began with the anthem of the Czech and Slovak Republics at the Brno Cabbage Market. The organizer of the event, Tomáš Franzki, invited all participants to put on veils, stand in groups of twenty people and behave decently. The event is supervised by police officers.

According to their demonstrators, the protesters are calling for, for example, the lifting of testing of healthy or asymptomatic people, an end to the manipulation of the number of infected people or the lifting of all bans.

“The pandemic is fake, the numbers do not even correspond to the epidemic. Why is the Prime Minister lying to us that he will open something and nothing again. People are suffering, hungry and not renting. I am not an anti-sculptor and I do not deny the virus, but my doctor told me that the veil harms me and I act on the recommendation of my doctor. No government will tell me how to breathe or not to breathe, “Franzki said.
