The Peruvian Navy (MGP) reported that it will begin investigations to clarify the circumstances of the death of the fourth-year cadet, Jaime Chávez Balcázar.
The young man lost his life on March 14, around 5:40 in the afternoon at the Peruvian Naval Academy. The hypothesis used by the military institution is that the cadet would have been doing exercises alone in the pool and was found dead by his companions.

The doctor on duty at the Naval Academy gave the first attention to Jaime Chávez and referred him to the “Cirujano Mayor Santiago Távara” Naval Medical Center, where his death was confirmed.
