Although, in general, this song usually closes their live sets, Dave Grohl and company opted, this time, to open their show with this cut of ‘The Colour and the Shape’. The next issue they faced was the first single from their next release, ‘Medicine at Midnight’, “Shame Shame”, just to keep up with the cool “Waiting On A War”, also part of the new album. Finally, the Foo Fighters did not disappoint, because they closed with their mega hit of 2007 “The Pretender”.

Further, Dave Grohl, guitarist Pat Smear and keyboardist Rami Jaffe they were also part of an interview on the same radio, in which they remembered their 25 years in the band, their new album and, in addition, they have talked about what they have done during the pandemic. Apparently good old Grohl, in addition to playing, has mastered the art of making lasagna for the past year.

Last year, in another interview, also with Kerrang!Dave explained that he was looking forward to getting back together with his bandmates to play in front of real people again: “Getting back on the instruments and starting to play those songs that we recorded a year ago is an incredible feeling. It seems, almost, that we were a band again (laughs). There’s no one to play for right now … But hey, it made us feel good to be able to play again, you know? Even in front of an empty auditorium, it’s really cool “.
