The match between Vitória and Sporting was interrupted for several minutes due to scenes of violence in one of the stands of D. Afonso Henriques.
The police took a position in one of the stadium centrals, preventing the Guimarães supporters from approaching the area where the lion supporters were. A stampede was immediately generated on the bench that resulted in chairs being thrown at the security forces.
