Happy ending for this young orca on the coast of the Magadan region in eastern Russia. The animal got into low water while hunting and was stranded. For several hours, the emergency services tried to move the animal in the icy water and repeatedly moistened it with water. Not without risk, since the animal is estimated to have weighed more than half a ton. Ultimately, it was the rising water that freed the young animal from its predicament and brought it back to its mother – to the cheers of the helpers.
