VIDEO from the war: The end of Russia

Neither Russia nor Ukraine is interested in prolonging the war

Russia is running out of steam and losing the potential to continue the war. The Russian army now fights primarily with manpower, not with military equipment.

This was said by military expert Oleg Zhdanov, answering questions from subscribers on his YouTube channel, UNIAN reports.

According to him, none of the parties in the current conflict has an interest in freezing it.

Russia cannot prolong the war. That is why Putin scares everyone and everything. He has only one scarecrow left – the nuclear club. But we and our partners will not prolong the war either,” said Zhdanov.

The expert noted that for Ukraine, the situation with regard to weapons is gradually improving, since recently it became possible to “break the dam” on the issue of Western weapons supplies. Russia’s combat potential is declining.

“Inferior quality mobilized people are coming, lower quality equipment and weapons are starting to arrive. They are fighting mostly with manpower, not tanks. Yes, there is still superiority in artillery. In technique, they can create superiority in one direction. But in one direction,” Zhdanov said.

According to him, the question is how long the Russians will be ready to simply arrive and die “for the tsar and the fatherland”.

In the last 24 hours, the Russian invaders lost about 720 of their soldiers killed in Ukraine. In general, since the beginning of the invasion, the losses of the enemy amounted to about 130,590 people, writes UNIAN.

At the moment, the occupiers are attacking in four directions – Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky.

Against this background, assault brigades of the “Offensive Guard” began to be formed in Ukraine. These units are involved in counteroffensive operations.
