I often went to her in Montmartre”, Remembered the father of Alain-Fabien Delon in 2006, evoking for the first time his hidden relationship with the singer. “She came from the Middle East with, as only baggage, a title of Miss Egypt 1954. […] Ten years later she had become Dalida and I, Delon“, he also told a few years later, with Paris Match.
“Everyone had their own secret garden”
A love story protected from everyone, even Orlando, Dalida’s brother. “We were surprised when we were told that he had had a love affair with Dalida. That they had loved each other in Italy, in Rome. Nobody knew it, we didn’t know about it. Because Dalida didn’t tell us everything!
