Injured, Matt Jackson should be out for a few months.

Last week at Dynamite, we saw the Young Bucks leaving in an ambulance at the start of the episode after being attacked backstage. An angle written to dismiss the Young Bucks and cover a real injury to one of the two brothers.

The Wrestling Observer reported on Tuesday that Matt Jackson suffered a partial bicep tear, an injury that occurred during the Trios Championship match at AEW Dynamite on March 15. The injury would have occurred at the start of the match, the wrestler having still wrestled with the injury until the end.

According to the news site, Matt Jackson would have preferred not to have surgery so as not to be away from the rings for too long. However, the wrestler could still miss the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 28.

Neither AEW nor Matt Jackson have yet commented on the wrestler’s injury.

Kenny Omega who finds himself alone within The Elite for the moment seems set for a storyline with Hangman Page and Don Callis, if we are to believe the last episode of AEW Dynamite.
