VIDEO: A song banned from participating in Eurovision

Alina Pash, the winner of the 2022 Ukrainian national selection “Vidbir”, will not represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy.

The BBC cites the fact that the singer’s trip to Crimea, an area taken over by Russia in 2014, is being investigated as a possible reason for such a radical decision.
