Already this Saturday, July 4, the second stage of the Latvian triathlon “Vaidava triathlon” will take place in Vaidava, Kocēni region. Depending on the age group and level of preparation, several distances will be available, including for children, as well as the Olympic or Vaidava Standard “Garmin” distance (1.5 km + 40 km + 10 km).

“I am very pleased that it is possible to hold the second stage of the Latvian Cup in triathlon on the first weekend of July. Registration of participants will start from 10.00, and from At 11.30 the starts will take place in the following distances: (swimming 0.1 km + cycling 5 km + running 1 km); (0.2 + 10 + 2); (0.4 + 20 + 4). Children will also have the opportunity to try their hand at symbolic triathlon. At 13.30 athletes will start in the Olympic “Garmin” distance: 1.5 + 40 + 10. “Vaidavas Triathlon” in cooperation with the municipality this year introduced a new group “First Triathlon Kocēni” to encourage those interested to try their hand at the symbolic triathlon distance. Everyone who has reached the age of 13 is invited to participate in this group, and the participant must confirm that he / she has not previously competed in a world triathlon competition.
The organizers ask the participants to register in time, it will be possible to do it in person on the day of the competition from 8.30.
