The non-profit organization, Profamilia, proposed in this 2022 that people have greater facilities when it comes to accessing a decent health service. Now, they want to raise awareness about the importance of vaccination.

For this, they joined forces with the pharmaceutical company MSD and Rappi. Through this latest application, Colombians will be able to choose which vaccine to get and when, without leaving their homes.
“From Profamilia we continue to advance in the search for more and better opportunities so that all people in Colombia can access health services in an easy, safe and informed manner, and have knowledge about their Sexual and Reproductive Rights. This alliance with Rappi will contribute to the well-being of thousands of people”, explained Marcelo Quirós, commercial manager of Profamilia.
The initiative will start operating in four of the country’s main cities: Bogotá, Cali, Medellín and Ibagué.
The vaccines that will be available in the Rappi application are the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), herpes zoster, meningococcus, chickenpox and pneumococcus.

How to schedule?
If you wish to access this service, you must have a Rappi account on your cell phone. To register in this application it is only necessary to enter the email or mobile number.
Quirós, the commercial manager of Profamilia, explained that to request an address for vaccines, you must enter the Pharmacy section in this application and there you will find the ‘Clínica Profamilia’ logo. Once you enter this space, you only have to select which drug you want.
Each injection will cost 140,000 pesos and will be applied by a Profamilia staff member. with nursing capacity and who resides near your address.
The Rappi application offers the possibility that the vaccine be given immediately or to schedule it for a few hours later.
