Dmitry Lisovets, chairman of the St. Petersburg Health Committee, said there were deaths in the city of fully vaccinated coronavirus patients. He noted that they all had chronic diseases.
“There are cases when patients who have been vaccinated with both components (of the vaccine) but have died. These are patients with severe concomitant pathology, cardiovascular disease, cancer and others,” the official said.
Lisovets noted that if there are no risk factors, the chance of serious coronavirus infection after vaccination is reduced by more than 20 times.
