Usa, in Louisville you shoot at the Black Lives Matter demonstration: one dead

One person died and at least one other was injured in Louisville, Kentucky, when a man started shooting at the crowd protesting in a park for the death of Breonna Taylor, a young African American woman killed by police in Louisville last March. The police said they received calls around 9 pm (local time, 3 pm in Italy) for gunshots near Jefferson Square Park, the epicenter of the demonstrations against racial discrimination and police brutality for weeks. The victim was a man, another person injured and hospitalized. It would not be life threatening.

The alleged video of the shooting

A video tracked on social and spread by some American media seems to show the moment when the shots started: in the movie – very grainy – you can see a man lifting a firearm and exploding the first shots; then the people terrified and fleeing between the tents of the garrison in the park and, finally, a man on the ground.

The video, according to some media reports, would have been extrapolated from one live Facebook that one of the protesters was making right in those minutes from the park. However, there is still no confirmation of the veracity of the film by the authorities.

The investigations

I am deeply saddened by the violence that broke out tonight in Jefferson Square Park, where those who expressed their concerns were gathered, tweeted the mayor of Lousiville Greg Fischer. a tragedy that this peaceful protest area is now a crime scene. The police are investigating to identify the perpetrator of the shooting, but for the moment it has not released or possible identikit, n additional information on dynamics.
