USA and EU announce cooperation on China and Russia

Washington The USA and the European Union said they have agreed a bilateral dialogue with China and a joint approach with Russia. In a joint statement following a meeting between US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and EU foreign representative Josep Borrell on Wednesday in Brussels, it was said that they agreed that relations with China were multifaceted and “comprised of elements of cooperation, competition and systemic Rivalry ”exist.

They also want to tackle the “challenges of Russian behavior”, including aggressive behavior towards Georgia and Ukraine. They also want to work together on issues such as human rights, security and climate change.
