The Ministry of Health and Population set prices for the treatment of the new corona virus in private hospitals, after the Cabinet decided to set regulations for private hospitals that began participating in treating citizens from the epidemic, after the recent period witnessed an exaggerated rise in the cost of treatment and isolation in a number of these hospitals.
Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, approved the proposal of Dr. Nihal Al-Shaer, Head of the Central Department for Free Therapy and Medical Licensing, to determine the price of treatment per day for patients inside, after receiving many complaints of exaggeration in the pricing of treatment for Corona hospitals.
The cost of the treatment was as follows:
The cost of a day for the patient in isolation ranges from 1500 to 3000 pounds.
The one-day cost for a patient in intensive care, including a ventilator, ranges from 7500 pounds to 10,000 pounds.
– The cost per day for the patient in care without a respirator from 5000 pounds to 7000 pounds.
The Ministry of Health said that the prices include service, supplies, doctors and nursing wages, full board residency, tests, x-rays, infection control supplies, and medical supplies.
