Firefighters from several counties intervened in infernal conditions. The Petromidia fire it started around 12 o’clock and was extinguished around 19 o’clock.

The images were also distributed by Deputy Prime Minister Dan Barna, along with the message: “Thank you!”.
Interior Minister Lucian Bode also thanked and appreciated the professionalism of the 120 firefighters who intervened.
“Today we witnessed a tragedy and only the professionalism of the intervention staff prevented a disaster. Thank you all for the mobilization, for the promptness with which they intervened in avoiding a catastrophe! Due to the promptness of the rescuers, in less than an hour from the 112 call, the fire was located and in 3 hours it was extinguished.
