Dr. Boulos Ishaq, a consultant oncologist at Nasser Medical City “Nasser Institute,” said that he fell ill cancer It has many types, including viral, genetic, and hereditary, and the fourth type results from following unhealthy habits.

The first type: breast and ovarian cancer, is detected by BRCA1_2 analysis

He pointed out that the BRCA1_2 analysis, that is, the cancer gene analysis, is performed if there is a history of illness in the family, and this analysis reveals the percentage of predisposition to developing breast and ovarian cancer, pointing out that this type of cancer is affected by 40% at an early age, and therefore early diagnosis helps. Or early examination and treatment, and so that those affected do not suffer any health damage due to the disease.

The second type…cancer resulting from hereditary genetic defects is colon cancer

The oncology consultant continued his speech by saying that there is no obvious cause for cancer, but exposure to hereditary defects in the genes increases the chances of colon cancer. When a person is exposed to the presence of large polyps in the colon, this person is vulnerable to cancer, and therefore medical intervention must be done to prevent it. This type of cancer occurs if there are genes that indicate this, such as a family history of it, or the presence of many polyps in the colon.

The third type: viral cancer is cervical cancer and liver cancer

Paul also added that there is another type of cancer, which is viral cancer, which a person gets as a result of exposure to the HPV virus, which is related to cervical cancer. Therefore, modern medicine urges the necessity of taking the vaccine for this virus to protect against infection before reaching the age of 14 years to prevent it. Either hepatitis B or C virus results in liver cancer, which a person is exposed to if the viruses are not treated, which results in liver damage and then cancer.

The fourth type: cancers resulting from wrong skin and lung habits

The oncology consultant explained that the incidence of lung cancer increases through smoking, and therefore the wrong habit is smoking. As for skin cancer, its incidence increases when exposed to harmful sunlight, so you should be exposed to the sun’s rays before 10 in the morning.
