AKURAT.CO, When watching videos on your computer, chances are that you are watching them with the VLC player. Yes, VLC is one of the most popular video playback apps out there. This application is liked for its ability to play many video formats as well as relatively light weight compared to some other similar applications which are heavier.
However, VLC’s app design hasn’t changed much over the years. Now, according to a report from Protocol, VLC 4.0 will be present at the end of this year with some major changes, as reported by Ubergizmo, Saturday (13/2).
One of these changes is the UI or appearance which will give it a little more modernity. The developers are also looking for ways that VLC can make money, like integrating more content directly into apps similar to what Plex has done.

There is currently no date when VLC 4.0 will be released, but it will most likely arrive in the coming months. So, this is an update to look forward to.
