Tibber issued an invoice on October 4th with payment deadline on October 14th. Customers have ten days to pay the abnormally high bill.

– When we first got the email I didn’t think much about it, I just didn’t read it well enough. It was definitely a shock when the bill came, Nygård says.
The 42-year-old believes the whole situation is grim.
– Not everyone is able to pay such extreme bills. We can pay, but it’s not easy here in the house either. Now we are reversing the situation, he says and adds:

Tibber writes on his website that if you have canceled the electricity contract with Tibber, and the new one starts in October, you should only pay the actual September consumption and the monthly fee.
