Following the Pfizer vaccine, the UK government will also approve AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine, developed in the country, in a few days, according to the British Daily Telegraph.

It will be possible to start large-scale parallel vaccinations with Pfizer vaccine from the beginning of next month.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, AstraZeneca’s CEO said, “We have found a formula for success that can increase the efficacy of two doses of the vaccine.”

It also said the vaccine would be effective against the COVID-19 mutation that is spreading around the UK.

The 27 member states of the European Union and the EU all started Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccination on the 27th of local time.

Italy’s first vaccination target, where the most COVID-19 deaths occurred in Europe, were medical staff at the forefront of coronavirus.

“I feel very proud and responsible for getting the vaccine for the first time. Vaccination is a small thing, but it will be a fundamental change for all of us.”

Germany, which has the steepest corona spread in Europe, started with a 101-year-old nursing home resident the day before and started a vaccination mobilization team nationwide.

Other EU member states have also started vaccinating seniors and medical staff in nursing homes.

In the Czech Republic and Greece, the prime minister has been injecting himself to secure confidence in the vaccine.

“The vaccine that arrived in the European Union yesterday gave us hope that we could get back to normal life.”

French President Macron said “a new weapon called vaccines has been created,” and Austrian Prime Minister Kurz described it as “game changer.”

The EU aims to enable mass immunity by completing vaccinations for 70% of the 450 million people in the region, and on the 6th of next month, it will also decide whether to urgently approve the US modder or vaccine.
