“You are always concerned with what is best for the sport,” said EF Pro Cycling manager Jonathan Vaughters’s ironic response to the UCI.
The cycling team was fined 500 Swiss francs per rider for “not wearing the appropriate uniform during the team presentation.” That amounts to no less than 3,707.51 euros for the 8 riders.
“Hopefully David Lappartient will enjoy his dinner at our expense,” said Vaughters.
