Christmas is about to come and although we have nothing to count on for the snow outside the window, the pre-Christmas atmosphere is slowly beginning to spread to all of us. The spirit of the holidays is also felt – in their own corporate way – by companies from our industry, starting with all kinds of sales, gaming events and, of course, giving away gifts.
From next Thursday Epic intends to inundate players with free titlesthat’s why Ubisoft started its – it seems – more modest event a moment earlier. Until Friday (December 18), the French publisher will give us one gift every day. Yesterday it was items in Valhalla, today it is a copy of Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
The main attraction of the game at the time of its premiere was the use of real toys (the so-called toys-to-life) – as is the case in, for example, Skylanders – but hopefully it can also defend itself as a standalone production.
