U.S. Dollar Index Falls, Euro and Pound Show Mixed Performance

The U.S. dollar index fell on the 27th.

The U.S. dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against six major currencies, fell 0.04% on the day and closed at 106.558 in late foreign exchange trading.

1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 149.51 yen, lower than 150.37 yen on the previous trading day; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 0.9015 Swiss francs, higher than 0.8989 Swiss francs on the previous trading day; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 1.3878 Canadian dollars, higher than the previous trading day 1.3815 Canadian dollars; 1 U.S. dollar exchanged for 11.1605 Swedish kronor, down from 11.1621 Swedish kronor in the previous trading day.
