The Italian group Enel has signed an exclusive agreement with the largest electricity company in Greece for the sale of the business in Romania.

During the talks, scheduled until the end of January, PPC (Greece Public Electricity Company) will carry out a financial verification of the assets, with the aim of acquiring 70% of the subsidiary of the Italian group Enel in Romania, in a transaction that enhances the entire company Enel Romania for 1.8 billion euros.

The entire company Enel Romania, willing to sell, is valued at 1.8 billion euros-1.9 billion euros, and together with PPC also compete the investment funds Brookfield Asset Management and Amber Infrastructure Group, writes profit.ro
