JAKARTA – Morning is the most important time for sufferers type 2 diabetes to ensure blood sugar they are high or not because the dawn phenomenon can impact the body throughout the day.

Reporting from Express, Friday (30/7) the dawn phenomenon is a natural increase in blood sugar that occurs in the early hours of the morning. Shifts in blood sugar levels occur as a result of hormonal changes in the body.

The body normally uses insulin to cope with rising blood sugar. But the patient’s body diabetes doesn’t produce enough insulin, or can’t use insulin properly.

As a result, the person will feel the effect of having high levels of high sugar in blood. The phenomenon of dawn can be a problem because the body is not able to naturally correct the changes in insulin at night.

This often creates consistently high blood sugar levels in the morning. Estimates suggest that the dawn phenomenon occurs in about 50% of people who have type 2 diabetes.

According to Medical News Today, the five main symptoms that mark the dawn phenomenon include fainting, nausea, blurred vision, disorientation and extreme thirst.
