Two people shot at the rally of the US movement “Black Lives Matter” / Article / LSM.lv

One person was killed and another injured in a shooting that erupted in the United States during a rally in the Black Lives Matter movement in Kentucky.

The incident took place on the evening of Saturday, June 27, in Jefferson Park in the center of Leweville, where protests caused by the killing of the black Breon Taylor have been going on for weeks.

The 26-year-old ambulance was sanitary shot after breaking into her apartment, which law enforcement claims was used for drug trafficking.

Her death in March sparked a campaign against racism and police brutality, which in May, following the death of George Floid during a police arrest operation in Minneapolis, dramatically expanded and grew into a nationwide disaster.

Recently, these protests have spread from the United States to other countries.

Louivla agglomeration police say that security guards were called to the park around 9 p.m.

During the incident, one person died from gunshot wounds in the park, but a moment later another was shot at the city courthouse opposite the park.

It is not yet clear whether one or more people were shot.

Earlier, the Louisville Courier Journal reported that “armed patriotic groups” were going to hold a counter-demonstration at the scene.
