Why are the guilty not arrested?
We have been contacted by Yavor Fichev from Sofia who claims he was attacked 6 months ago in his home by two masked men. To date the attackers have not yet been arrested, although police released photos of them in September. Today the injured man is offering a cash reward to anyone who can provide him with information on the identity of the two attackers.
On April 7 of this year, Yavor Fichev opened the door of his house to two, according to him, unknown men. “I was attacked by two masked men who rang the bell and identified themselves as policemen. They tied me up with pig tails, laid me on the ground and started beating me during this time. I called the neighbors for help and the two perpetrators got scared and ran away,” the man said.
According to Yavor, she in no way provoked the assault against him. “I had numerous bruises on my head and lacerations, a medical examination was also carried out at the Aleksandrovsk hospital”, recalls the beaten man.
In September, police released photos of the two attackers. However, the identity of the authors has not yet been established. Yavor announced a cash reward of BGN 1,000 for the identity of the two. He believes the hitmen were sent by his ex-girlfriend.
Our team searched for the woman in question, but she declined to comment on what happened. The Metropolitan Directorate of Internal Affairs has informed NOVA that work to establish the identity of the two attackers continues.
