Societe Generale Morocco announces the appointment of Mehdi Benbachir as DGA & – member of the COMEX in charge of the Retail BU and will thus drive the markets of individuals, professional customers as well as TPE. Another appointment was that of Larbi Mouline as a member of the Executive Committee in charge of Investment Banking.
Mehdi Benbachir worked for 6 years in the Investment Banking business in mergers and acquisitions and private equity. He joined Société Générale Maroc in 2005 in the management of large companies. In 2008, he was appointed head of the Board’s management. In 2013, he took charge of all the activities of the Investment Banking and in 2018, he was appointed DGA in charge of the Investment Banking Business Unit and the Strategy / Marketing / Quality / Innovation Service Unit.
As for Larbi Mouline, he joined Société Générale Maroc in April 2017 as Director of Capital Markets. As part of this function, he led the transformation of the trading room business model, notably by opening up to the institutional clientele segment and developing new activities.
Mr. Mouline has 17 years of experience in the Moroccan financial market, during which he held several positions of responsibility in different financial institutions.
