As reported by the Mirror, Liam, an eight-week-old boy was stabbed at his home in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The father – who was at the time in the West Midlands visiting the eldest daughters of a previous marriage – was notified over the phone. “Our father – the girls tell in shock – screamed in pain”.
A two-year-old girl was also rushed to hospital in critical condition, although she is now stable. Police arrested a 29-year-old woman on charges of murder and attempted murder.
