The police are looking for a motorist who hit two cyclists early this morning in a residential area in Eindhoven. Both cyclists were seriously injured. The motorist drove on at high speed, but rolled over a few hundred meters away and ended up against a lamppost. He then ran off on foot, reports Broadcasting Brabant.

The cyclists who were hit are a man and a woman.

“We are busy looking for the driver of the car, who is believed to be injured,” said the police. It is reported on Burgernet that it concerns “a tinted man” in his early 20s. “He has dark curls and was wearing black clothes at the time of the accident”, the report says.
