First, the clock used corresponds to the BMKG atomic clock at http://jam.bmkg.go.id or at http://ntp.bmkg.go.id

Then use a tool that can be made perpendicular to a flat surface.

The tool can be a pendulum, a pole, or a building wall that is perpendicular to the flat ground.

Then do the calibration process from five minutes before and after 16.18 WIB or 17.18 WITA (peak time).

After that, pay attention to the direction of the shadow at the peak time.

According to the Lecturer of Phalanges in the Department of Islamic Astronomy, Faculty of Sharia, IAIN Lhokseumawe, Tgk Ismail Isz, said that during this total month, IAIN Lhokseumawe will join virtual observations with 20 observation points throughout Indonesia.

This virtual observation will be very useful for the community Indonesia, where the eclipse conditions of the 20 observation points at Indonesia will be displayed in one channel.
