All emergency services intervened in the collision of two cars at the Klatovská x Borská x U Trati intersection
On Friday evening around eight o’clock, two cars collided at the intersection of Klatovská x Borská x U Trati streets in Pilsen.
The slightly injured woman was helped first by a crew of rescuers driving by randomly, and then by another ambulance that had already been sent directly to the scene.
In the meantime, firefighters secured the scene of the accident, carried out fire prevention measures and other necessary activities on site.
According to information from the scene, a Czech driver with a Škoda vehicle was driving along Klatovská třída from Bor towards the center, and a Ukrainian driver with a Toyota car was driving along U Trati Street from the Milenia Bridge, in which the woman was also traveling with a passenger.
At the time of the accident, the traffic lights were working and one of the women ran a red light at the intersection where the two cars collided.
“A female driver born in 1995 was driving a Škoda Fabia vehicle along Klatovská třída in Pilsen towards the center, when at the intersection with U Trati Street she did not respect the “Stop” traffic sign and the front part of the vehicle collided with the left side of a Toyota Corolla driven by a driver born in in 1980.
This driver was slightly injured and the accident is being further investigated by traffic police from the traffic inspectorate of Pilsen-město,” a police spokesman told us this morning, adding that the breath tests of both drivers were negative.
