The police arrested two people last night in the case surrounding the fatal stabbing on Friday in Enschede.
It is not clear whether the arrests also concern the possible perpetrator. The police underline on X that the investigation is still in progress.
The stabbing took place just after 10:30 PM at a parking garage on the edge of the center of Enschede. It was busy in the neighborhood. Many people witnessed what happened, but the circumstances of the incident are not yet clear.
It is now known that the fatal victim was a minor Syrian refugee. Another minor Syrian was injured.
