The TV bonus starts on Monday 23 August. It is one of the most anticipated bonuses also because it is without ISEE and it is very easy to obtain. It is € 100 for the replacement of the old TV.
This bonus essentially arises from the government’s desire to stimulate Italian spending. But it was also born because the old digital terrestrial or rather the one we still use, will soon go out of use. Consequently, the Italians will have to change television. To help them in this transition, the government has put in place a coverage of 250 million euros. More than a few experts, however, underline that these 250 million euros will most likely not be enough to cover all the various televisions to be replaced.
For many but not for everyone
Yeah, but how many are these TVs to replace? According to an estimate, there are even 15 million televisions. If the estimate is correct, the coverage is insufficient. But apparently the government would have to allocate more money at some point. The argument remains that the ISEE is not needed and the discount is equal to 20% of the price of the new TV, but with a ceiling set at € 100. Although there is no constraint linked to the ISEE, there is a constraint linked to the scrapping of an old TV. But how old?

It must have been purchased before December 22, 2018. The discount is applied directly by the retailer. This is a great convenience but you have to bring the old television and the form with the self-declaration.

But it can be downloaded from the government website. As far as retailers are concerned, in order to apply the discount and get back the subscription amount, the buyer must also be registered on the appropriate site.
