“According to the results of the second day, the turnout was a little more than on the first day of voting, it is pretty decent with us,” she said, adding that the total number of voters was 21 million 171 thousand 137 people, and the turnout was 19.49 percent.
–
815 thousand 557 people took part in remote electronic voting in Moscow and the Nizhny Novgorod region, the turnout was 68.49 percent, Pamfilova added.
–
“The turnout should be natural. No cases of coercion! We control the situation, monitor the information field and quickly respond to incoming information,” the CEC chairman emphasized.
–
Among the regions leading in turnout, she named Tambov Oblast (35.15 percent), Tuva (33.73 percent) and Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (33.65 percent). The lowest turnout, according to her, is in the Irkutsk region (7.78 percent).

The all-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution was to be held on April 22, it had to be postponed but because of the coronavirus pandemic. As the epidemiological situation stabilizes, President Vladimir Putin has set a new date for July 1. Given the requirements for public safety, voting will last all week – from June 25 to July 1.
