A post by Scanzi on their Facebook page and the storm breaks out: the object of the mockery, obvious, needless to say is Giorgia Meloni towards which the journalist has a certain “affection”.
What happened
As has happened several times in the past, however discredit the leader of Fratelli d’Italia has published a still image taken from a user’s profile showing Meloni not exactly in the best photographic pose (attached in the piece). “This is when he starts speaking in ancient Aramaic and shakes his head“, writes this Rostokkio proudly, even more gloating (probably) for having had the visibility given to him by Scanzi who, sharing the post, commented on the sentence with”Possible“.
Comments with hate but there is no reply
Under the post with the photo, hundreds of pro Scanzi users have been unleashed in comments that define vulgar and shameful that’s an understatement (you can see them at the end of the piece). “Here is a sophisticated exit from the alleged intelligentsia that spends the day making me moral. In the comments you can find everything: threats, death wishes or to end up hanging, sexist insults of all kinds, obscene photomontages and so on. has more metta “, Meloni writes on her profile. In short, regardless of political ideas, there was no defense after the attack by users who will probably be reported to the competent authorities. Scanzi is silent, the left idem, as if those messages were fresh water.
To make a fitting comparison, think of Matteo Bassetti and the heavy ones threats suffered on their Facebook profile in the field of vaccines and studies: well, often and willingly the epidemiologist was rightly defended by political circles, in this case all this did not happen for Meloni. As always, two weights and two measures. “Just imagine what would have happened if such an ignoble post, published by a “journalist”, had been devoted to left-wing politics. But if it is a right-wing woman who gets hit in such a mean way, then everybody is dumb“, urges Meloni.
