Trump Will Lose, JCI Fly! Foreign Buy These 5 Shares

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) was still racing in the first trading session this Thursday (5/11/2020) by 2.11% at 5,213.86 at 10.57 WIB.

Trade data noted that foreigners even entered as much as Rp. 130 billion in the regular market and in the negotiable market and Rp. 9.20 billion in cash, after the last few days continued to experience selling pressure (net sell).

JCI indeed shot up sharply at the start of trading this Thursday, reversing the sharp decline of 1.05% last Wednesday. The good sentiment of global market players is able to boost the performance of the Indonesian market.

Positive sentiment came from Wall Street which again scored a strengthening in trading Wednesday local time, even though the results of the presidential election (pilpres) of the United States (US) are still unclear who the winner is. With this performance, Wall Street successfully recorded a 3-day straight strengthening.

The Dow Jones Index in the last 3 days totaled up 5.08%, S&P 500 shot 5.31%, and Nasdaq led by 6.22%.

The calculation for the presidential election of the United States (US) is still being held. But preliminary results show incumbent challenger Joe Biden is far behind President Donald Trump.

From Fox News’ quick count, Biden was only one step away from getting 270 votes at Electoral College. From website the media, Biden paired with Kamala Harris got 264 votes while Trump paired with Mike pence got 214 votes.
