A cargo truck with 70 Central American migrants on board overturned in the southern zone of Veracruz and left a balance of one dead and 45 wounded.
The events occurred today morning on the federal highway 180, at the height of the municipality of San Andrés Tuxtla, where there was a great police mobilization.
It was a torton truck, white and with 532DH6 circulation plates, whose driver lost control and left the asphalt folder.
At the scene, one person died and 45 others were injured, some of whom received attention at the scene and others – even without quantification – were taken to hospitals in the area.
The site was attended by elements of the Federal Police, National Guard, State Civil and Municipal Protection of San Andrés Tuxtla, Catemaco and Santiago Tuxtla, as well as the Fire Department of San Andrés Tuxtla and Red Cross.
Authorities from the three levels of government enabled a Temporary Shelter at the Children’s Shelter in San Andrés Tuxtla, where 10 people are located.
